Road closures for Yokohama Marathon 2026 (Oct 25)
If you planned to take the Bayshore Route toward Yokosuka or Miura, you can settle on a detour in advance.
Expressway closures begin around 4:00 with the Minatomirai exit. On the Bayshore Route, the section from Honmoku JCT to Namiki/Sachiura closes in both directions from about 5:00 to 16:30, along with the Honmoku Futo, Minami-Honmoku Futo, Sankeien, Isogo, Sugita and Sachiura ramps in between. Because you cannot reach Namiki/Sachiura from the Ishikawacho entrance via the Bayshore Route, organizers point drivers to the Bandobashi entrance and the Yokohama-Yokosuka Road instead.
Local-road closure times differ by course section; around Honmoku, Negishi, Isogo and Kanazawa they run from about 8:00 to 12:50. Closures may run longer depending on how the race progresses.
